Louisiana Technical College

Vintage Design Group is working with the Louisiana Technical College system on design and construction of their new Workforce Development Building.  This campus building has a $1.6m construction budget and an additional $400,000 in FF&E funds, for a total project cost of just over $2,000,000.   Vintage Design Group worked with the school system to address their needs, future growth and design a building that will house, classrooms, flexible shop space, staff offices and support areas.  Design addressed blending the new structure into the existing architecture, existing mechanical and electrical capacity as well as integration into the existing fire, security and network systems.  Prior to construction, Vintage Design Group worked with the client to obtain competitive bids and select the most qualified contractor.  As construction has progressed, they have worked with the client to submit weekly field reports, process submittals, address contractor questions and validate pay applications.
