The Crockett Project
The project is located in the Shreveport downtown cultural district and the Shreveport downtown development authority at 427-429 Crockett Street, Shreveport, LA, is a historical renovation project that is a great combination of the preservation of the historical buildings in Shreveport with the touch of modern designs. The primary goal of this historical renovation project was to preserve and restore the building to its original grandeur while integrating modern amenities to enhance its functionality. The original completion of the project marks the date of 1907 with two-story and later addition of one-story in 1924. The project was approved by Louisiana Division of Historic Preservation and the Shreveport Historical Commission. The project was commissioned for the restoration and rehabilitation. The Crockette project stands as a testament to the successful collaboration between historical preservation efforts and modern renovations.
