LAKE STREET PROJECT

Originally an old lake bed during Shreveport’s early development, the buildings along Lake Street date back to the turn of the century. After decades of decline, the 400 block was restored in 2014 by Vintage Design Group and iArchitecture. The 4,600-square-foot project thoughtfully blends historic character with contemporary design, preserving original brick and painted signage while introducing modern office spaces, open-concept lounges, and flexible commercial spaces. A playful slide connecting the floors adds a unique element to the workplace, creating a thoughtful balance between preservation, functionality, and creativity.
